The Society had a clear role in the 1967 and 1973 wars, by collecting material and inkind donations, as well as preparing a bag for warsthe wounded to be presented to the warriors on the Arab fronts. Members of the Society worked day and night to prepare these bags, as well as encouraging community members to participate in supporting the war effort and making donations. It also hosted Queen Rania to open an exhibition of fine arts to support the war effort in 1967, in which a group of Arab artists participated. The exhibition income was allocated for the sake of the guerrilla efforts.

In 1968, the Star of the East “Kawkab Al Sharq”, the famous singer Umm Kulthum visited Kuwait in support of the war effort and was honored to meet the late Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah AlSalem AlSabah, may God have mercy on him. During her visit, a concert was held at the theater of Andalus Cinema on 25 April 1968, in which she sang her glorious song “AlAtlal”. The proceeds of the concert amounted to almost 15,000 dinars. The singer Najat AlSaghira was invited in the same year to perform a concert at the Andalus Cinema.

The Society continued its efforts to support the war effort, whereby the Society established its fourth charitable bazzare for the guerrilla organizations in December 1969 at the University College of Girls in Kaifan. The bazzare included exhibits produced by the Society’s members in partnership with the Egyptian Women’s Association and the Palestinian community in Kuwait, some embassies and companies. The bazar’s income amounted to 7 thousand dinars.

In the same year, a fashion show was held at the Hilton Hotel, which was a good advertisement for the textiles of the United Arab Republic, and the income of the exhibition amounted to about a thousand dinars allocated for the guerrilla action.

In 1975, the Society hosted the artist Faten Hamama, who donated the proceeds from the screening of her film “I want a solution” in Kuwait for the sake of the war effort and to support the families of the martyrs and their children.

It is worth noting that President Gamal Abdel Nasser was handed over 100,000 dinars and 60 kilograms of gold, the proceeds of concerts, charitable bazars, and donations from companies and individuals during the events set up by the Society in favor of the war effort
